Pretty Pretty Princess

Released in 1990, the back of the box read: “Play dress-up with your friends as you collect fancy jewelry from the jewelry box. Collect your own matching color necklace, bracelet, ring, and earrings. But beware the Black Ring! If you get it, you must get rid of it before you can win. When you have all of your jewelry plus the crown, you win the game! Then you’ll be pretty as a princess – the Pretty Pretty Princess!¬†Pretty Pretty Princess is a roll and move game where players put on costume jewelry when they land on the appropriate locations on the board. The target audience is very young girls”

  1. The dreaded black ring!… I thought it was the coolest looking piece of jewelry in the game. I should find that again and wear it.

  3. I lost this game somehow when i was a child. But when I was working at Toys R Us and saw it, I had to buy it. I don’t play it but I plan on giving it to my daughter if and when I have one. I LOVED THIS GAME!

  5. Huh. I still have this game and I know exactly where it is. My father used to play it with me and I always made sure to loose so he’d have to run around in jewelry. :D

  7. Oh! Wow I loved this game! When I was young I only had an older brother so he had to play with me. It was fun when he had to wear all the plastic jewelry.
