Loveline
Loveline is a syndicated radio call-in program in North America, offering medical and relationship advice to listeners, often with the assistance of guests, typically actors and musicians. Its flagship station is KROQ-FM in Los Angeles.
Currently, Loveline is broadcast live, Sundays through Thursdays at 10pm–12am PT (Mondays through Fridays at 1am–3am ET). Syndication is usually on rock, alternative, and adult talk radio stations. K&B
K&B (Katz and Besthoff) was a drug store chain headquartered in New Orleans. Founded in 1905, it expanded to have stores in the United States Gulf Coast region until it was purchased by Rite Aid in 1997.
Gustave Katz partnered with Sydney J. Besthoff at 732 Canal Street, New Orleans in 1905, and continually expanded through the 20th century to become a regional chain. It was well known for its unique purple color, with everything in the store (signs, cash registers, employee uniforms, etc.) being “K&B Purple”. This color became well known as a descriptive term in the local lexicon – as one might describe something as “forest green”, New Orleanians still describe a particular shade of purple as “K&B purple.”
K&B had many of its own private label items, including household goods such as logo ice chests and garbage cans (in purple), its own liquor line with names typically beginning with the letters K&B and the YENDIS (Sidney spelled backwards)Liquor brand, and for a time a brand of beer. While the majority of K&B brand products were inexpensive non-descript products locally regarded as just above a generic brand, the line also included well regarded products such as the much beloved line of K&B ice cream; the distinctive K&B Creole Cream Cheese ice cream and it’s “talking ice cream freezer display case” TV commercials were local favorites. K&B had its own credit card operation too and since its credit policy was so stringent it became a badge of honor to be awarded a K&B credit card.

Wrestling Superstars
Wrestling Superstars was an action figure toyline based on the wrestlers of the WWF. They were made by the toy and video game company LJN from 1984 to 1989. The toys were made of solid rubber and were very accurate in appearance to their real life counterparts, however they did not have any articulation. The original 8″ figures were the first and most successful series from the line and other versions soon followed, such as Thumb Wrestlers, Stretch Wrestlers, and Bendies.
LJN closed its toy division in 1989, cancelling the Wrestling Superstars series with it. The last 6 figures which were produced did manage to get released by Grand Toys of Canada. They were the distributor of the entire Wrestling Superstars series in Canada. Hasbro were awarded the license as the main WWF action figure producer the following year.
These figures have become quite collectible, partly due to wrestling’s ongoing popularity and the 1980s nostalgia boom. However, it is somewhat difficult to find them in good condition. The paint on the figures would easily come off during play, leaving most figures in poor shape. The price for mint figures goes from about $45 and all the way up to $300. In poor condition, most of the line isn’t worth very much due to their great abundance. The figures that remain carded can command much higher prices though. In good condition, a mint on card figure can range from about $20 to $1200.
