Tubthumping

“Tubthumping” is a popular song released by Chumbawamba on August 11, 1997. It was their most successful single, peaking at #2 on the UK Singles Chart. It was also their best performance in the U.S., peaking at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song claimed the top spot in Italy and the U.S. Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.

   A friend and I sang this for our 4th grade talent show and won 2nd place, the winners lip synced to Blink-182 and pretended to play instruments and they had a fog machine while we actually sang and had dance moves to go along with it. I still feel ripped off.

   I liked some of their other song. My friend knows the keyboardest, but left the band a few years after this song came out.
