DecapAttack

DecapAttack is a video game for the Mega Drive/Genesis console. The game is also a part of the Sega Genesis Collection (Sega Mega Drive Collection) for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable and Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection (Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection) for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It is almost identical in terms of gameplay to the Japanese title Magical Hat Flying Turbo Adventure. However, the graphics, characters and level designs were nearly all changed, since Flying Turbo Adventure was based on the anime series Magical Hat for which the license was not obtained outside of Japan. Both are updates of the Master System game Psycho Fox, and also the NES game Kid Kool. Click here to watch some gameplay »

Road Rash

Road Rash is the name of a motorcycle-racing video game series by Electronic Arts, in which the player participates in violent illegal street races. The game was originally released for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, but was ported to several other systems. Six different games were released from 1991 to 1999, and a 2004 licensed port for the Game Boy Advance was released. Road Rash and two of its sequels later appeared on the EA Replay collection for the PSP.

The game’s title is based on the slang term for the severe friction burns that can occur in a motorcycling fall where skin comes into contact with the ground at high speed. Click here to watch some gameplay on Sega Genesis »
