Phoebe Buffay is a fictional character from the NBC sitcom Friends, portrayed by Lisa Kudrow. Kudrow received an Emmy Award, Screen Actor Guild’s Award and a Golden Globe nomination for her performance. Her twin sister, Ursula Buffay, who first appeared on Mad About You, eventually becomes Governor of New York.
