Tootsee Roll

“Tootsee Roll” is a song by rap group 69 Boyz released as the first single from their debut album 199Quad. In the United States, the song was certified Platinum and reached number eight on the Billboard Hot 100, number nine on the Hot R&B Singles chart and topped the Hot Rap Singles chart. The song samples Art of Noise’s song “Moments in Love”.

The song was also ranked at #73 on the list of the 100 Worst Songs Ever by Matthew Wilkening of AOL Radio, who claimed that “not only does [the] band name include ’69,’ and a ‘Z’ in place of an ‘S’,” but that the song also “compares women to food.”
